Service · Legacy software migration · Brooklyn, NY
Your old system, rebuilt on a modern stack — with proof it behaves identically before you commit.
I migrate working legacy software (old PHP, VB6, .NET Framework, FileMaker/Access-era systems) to modern, maintainable stacks.
The translation is the easy part. What I sell is the parity guarantee: your old system’s behavior is characterized with tests first, and the new system doesn’t ship until it passes them.

01 · The problem
Your system works. That’s the problem — it works, everyone depends on it, and nobody wants to touch it.
The original developers are gone, the stack is end-of-life, hiring for it is impossible, and every agency quote starts at six figures and a year.
AI changed the economics of the translation itself. It did not change the risk: undocumented behavior, edge cases nobody wrote down, and the data migration are where rebuilds die. So this offer is built backwards from that risk.

05 · Fit
For
Small and mid-size companies running a critical internal system on an old stack — too small for a $200k agency engagement, too important to leave rotting.
Not for
Mainframe/COBOL programs, or anyone who wants a quote without an assessment.
